Reviving the 1970’s B720 Startship Aicraft/Airplane used by Led Zeppelin!
Model: E-Jet v1 by Feelthere/Wilco (E190-BJ)
Travelling was always considered a major chore by Zeppelin. Neither Jimmy Page nor Peter Grant were particularly fond of flying, and Bonham was often known to require a drink or two to calm his nerves before taking off. Beginning with the 1972 U.S. tour, the Led Zeppelin starting touring using private airplanes to fly to the next show city. The most famous Led Zeppelin aircraft was the Starship, N7201U (CN: 17907), that was the first Boeing 720-022 built. It was delivered to United Airlines on Oct. 05, 1960 and then purchased on Jan. 15, 1973 by Contemporary Entertainment.
Here we are presenting a fictitus repaint of an Embraer Business Jet, the Lineage 1000 (the E-Jet E-190BJ), in the old colors of the B720 used by the band. The New Embraer Starship registration is G-LZPL. I hope you will enjoy flying around the world with this repaint while listening to the old and good Zeppelin songs!
